Jk jk I think he wanted to look tough during the Chinese negotiations in Beijing (now canceled btw) by taking Venezuela and Iran. Little did he know that Iran is and has been overly underestimated by both the US and Israeli intelligence. Trump saw the easy win in Venezuela, took the win, try to replicate in Iran. Failed miserably
