I'm not "ignoring the benefits", as I make segwit/taproot transactions often. I'm trying to bring awarenesses to the side effects of soft forks, because many people act as if bitcoin is perfect and this is la-la-land. I would like bitcoin to at least replace fiat currency before it gets destroyed from within.
