It's not unthinkable that they're just going to demand we let them scan our passports, to gain access. Which would mean Anthropic would have the full personal data of all of its US-citizen devs and could tie that data to what they are doing on the API.
Wouldn't surprise me, at all, if Anthropic and the US Gov are colluding on this.
