Good insight! I totally agree that deflation/inflation in its truest sense is strictly related to the broad money supply— something that has become convoluted to the normie brain. You are correct that inflation is the expansion of the money supply and deflation is the contraction. I suppose I should have made the distinction between “price deflation”.
