Supporting FOSS development is pretty annoying...outside of Nostr. Nostr makes it sooooooo easy that I'm even more annoyed now when I try to support projects outside of this sphere.
I remember trying to donate to Debian once and got so annoyed that I just gave up. There have been FOSS projects that attempted to solve this problem and those annoyed the shit out of me too.
Zapping has made me LESS patient than I already was, and I think that's a great sign. Plus, it's easier than ever to donate anonymously if one takes care and really wants to.
I remember the first time I was zapped like 10-20k sats one day for some posts I'd made and having a holy shit moment where my brain was flooded with all the possibilities of how this one thing could change so many things. I later learned that was just scratching the surface with Nostr, but it's a massive scratch.
I'm also getting annoyed when I pay for groceries now. Just give me a fucking QR code. I think the future is bright.
