Well, we’ve got plenty of tools now that are open source and built on Nostr… Derek Ross (npub18am…p424) built Plektos. There’s also jordi (npub138l…zeru) and Alekandar Svetski (npub1dtg…up6m) with Satlantis. Not sure where tyiu (npub1yau…vjmf) is at with Comingle? Patrick (npub1pat…9h9a) built NostrCal.
Then it’s not a Nostr app, but Evento by theoriginalbhd (npub1akn…fxa8) takes Bitcoin payments.
So footing the bill isn’t the issue, IMHO, but supporting our community is. I’d rather we use things in the Bitcoin + Nostr ecosystem.
