#Bitcoin development is often compared to the "early Internet".
I've been thinking it's more like #Linux:
- Assembled from decades of past research. - Reviewed and improved by thousands of passionate and brilliant enthusiasts. - Can be and is "forked" for different use cases or approaches. - A "base" system upon which modules can be connected to expand functionality. - The invisible layer upon which a new world is built. - People depend on it constantly, without ever interacting with it directly.
