Back in the days when I lived in WI for four years I was driving a Camaro.
And in my head i was still on the German Autobahn.
Until that day.
An American police officer pulled me over.
Hand on his gun & looking straight into my soul.
And he said…
“This is not a German Autobahn my friend.”
Then he added that he could barely keep up with me because he had never driven that fast in his Dodge police car in his entire career.
That moment taught me 2 things.
1. Germany spoils you.
2. Freedom always depends on where you think you are.
I smiled.
He smiled.
I got fined regardless.
