# Experiencing Value4Value on Nostr as an independant artist

⚡ Next week at the #Nostr NL meetup I’ll give a talk about the different forms of value-for-value I've recently experienced and share my insights as a creator on Nostr.

Abstract:
> In one weekend in March 2024, I onboarded my live electronic music alter ego Teder (npub1asu…20ap) on Nostr. I shared and streamed my live electronic music and received an overwhelming amount of heartfelt encouragement. The responses included follows, likes, comments but also a stream of microtransactions of bitcoin sats. Small payments that are evenly split amongst the producers, have negligible transaction costs, settle instantly and actually make you feel appreciated for sharing your art and engaging with your fans.
