NIP-24

Extra profile metadata

NIP-24 adds extra profile fields and common tags. Basic Nostr profiles can say who you are, but this NIP helps clients understand richer details like display names, banners, websites, and other profile information.

That makes profiles feel more complete across different apps. If one client lets you set a banner image, another client can read the same published metadata and show it too.
