Search

NIP-50 describes relay search. A relay can advertise that it supports search queries, and clients can ask it to find profiles, notes, or other content matching a word or phrase.

Search is hard in a decentralized system because there is no single master database. This NIP gives clients and relays a shared way to offer search without forcing everyone through one central service.
