NIP-92

Media attachments

NIP-92 describes media attachment metadata. When a post includes an image, video, or file, this NIP lets the event include helpful details such as alt text, dimensions, hashes, and fallback URLs.

That extra information improves the reading experience. Clients can lay out media better, show accessible descriptions, and verify or recover attachments more gracefully.
