In my lifetime, growing up in the 90s-2000s, I never found U2 to be anywhere close to good music. I’ve never thought any of their other music was remotely good. Maybe they were just actors posing as musicians propped up by the studios for whatever they had to do 🤔 Am I alone here?

I kept a small balance (20k sats) on CC to see if it gets swept. I rolled the dice. So far, the sats still remain.
It’s a small amount, but it’s an important test. A test of entropy and finding the boundaries of the current situation. Every data point helps us better understand the system and gives us more leverage for accountability once we figure out who did it.
If we find the killer, I’m comfortable participating in the judicial process.
This is the way.

Joy in Others' Good Fortune (Buddhist)
Mudita is sympathetic joy—rejoicing in the good fortune of others. It's the opposite of envy. When we practice gratitude, we're already opening the door to mudita: we're happy with what we have, so we can be happy when others have good things too. Their success doesn't threaten ours. We celebrate with them.
"May the good fortune of others never diminish my own happiness."

#NostrValley is coming up this October! Here’s a look back at last year’s event.
We already have some great nostriches planning to attend, and we’re looking forward to another weekend of builders, developers, and freedom tech conversations.
If you’re interested in attending, speaking, or sponsoring this year’s event, reach out to @npub18am…p424 or me.
We also have a Signal group chat for planning, coordination, and a little festivity along the way. 🥳

Right now we evaluate recipes across 8 categories, score them using AI, and write that data to relays. The goal is to turn this into a way to search, sort, and curate recipes as the dataset grows.

Kindness to Others (Stoic)
The Stoics valued justice and kindness—we're social beings; we're meant to help each other. Gratitude fuels kindness: when we're thankful for the help we've received, we're more likely to help others. We don't see ourselves as self-made; we see ourselves as part of a web of giving. Thankfulness and kindness are allies.

Morning Reflection (Stoic)
The Stoics practiced morning reflection—anticipating the day and setting intention. We can include gratitude: we name what we're thankful for before the day begins. We're not waiting for good things to happen; we're already acknowledging the good that exists. Gratitude in the morning sets the tone. We meet the day with eyes open to gift.
