My idea is that because users are already familiar with social apps' paradigms (feed, posts, etc) you don't confuse them with a slightly different UI that shows more content.
At the same time pushing two-columns you break the doom scroll goal that every platform has, giving more attention to long contents and genuine discussions.
So it's not only a UI preference, it's offering users a new perspective that is strongly related to Nostr's values.

I know it would be useful, for several reasons (seo included), I was tempted several times to add the thread view in Njump but at the end I always refused, since the final goal of Njump is to promote other real Nostr clients that have actual decentralized structure and Outbox support.
So if you created one, I'm happy with that :)
PS: I tested your tool with your own note and it got stuck on loading.

In the last release of "grouped notes" (https://grouped-notes.dtonon.com) I added the option to include replies. Currently there is a single feed, would you prefer to have two feeds (Notes/Replies) with a top tab switch, like in the classic view? If so, why?
In the same way but inversely the profile view has Notes/Replies tabs, would you you prefer to view all notes in a single feed? Since in this view we focus a single profile and the quantity of content is limited, the latter option seems actually a little more usable.

The main problem with Cloudflare is that it doesn't strictly honor cache headers, it applies a "best effort", but it can flush the cache as soon it want. This happens usually when a page is rarely accessed, and this situation creates a lot of problems when bots scan large blocks of content.

It's like that, but for long ranges, e.g. 5-30 days, I actually can load only the events necessary to fill the viewport and permit some scrolling. So I have to query all follows, but for a limited time-span, and then load more in chunks.

I also thought this initially, but actually the time-span group is browsed in sequential chunks, so we can lazy loading them.
The only cons of this i approach seems that you cannot have the real total count for every user of all the published events.

I understand that loading so much data is not common, but I don't experience any particular problem. As said we can can load in chunks when the user scroll down the timeline; the only data we lose is the real counter value for the selected timeframe.
But I don't think that having duplicate users is a good option, it invalidate the logic of this view.

1. Favorite/sticky users is an interesting idea; Jumble already has public/encrypted mute lists, so it should be pretty easy to implement.
2. I was already thinking about a read status, but the implementation is a little trickier, you should save a timestamp for every follows.

Persisted settings are in the roadmap, I need to study how Jumble save them for Filters and replicate it.
What kind of flexibility do you need? An open field to specify the number of days? I was also thinking about an "Infinite" option, where you can simply scroll down and load more content; in this case the total count should be predefined, for example to 24h.
I also noticed some problems on loading related to profiles' loading, I need to check.

Setting are currently used for every feed.
It use the already existent subscribeTimeline() + loadMoreTimeline() to automatically load the notes back in time until it reaches the set time limit.
Probably I could load notes/users to fill the current view*2, and then load more data (fire loadMoreTimeline()) only if the user scrolls.

One year ago I proposed a "stacked users" design/UX (note mentioned at the bottom of this note). It was appreciated but I didn't see any real implementation of it, so I finally decided to build it on my own, but instead of creating yet another nostr client, I picked Jumble and added it as a new "Grouped notes" mode:

Main features:
- Pick a custom timeframe (default 24 hours)
- Filter out users that posted more than X notes; useful to surface users that post rarely
- Switch to compact mode to have a RSS-like feeling, to the delight of @npub180c…h6w6
- See how many other notes the author published in the selected timeframe
- Compatible with the built-in filters
- Works also when browsing specific relays
I've been using this mode in the last few days, and I really like it, especially the compact version, since it offers a clean interface without any doom scrolling temptation. It also is letting me discover interesting content and users I forgot I followed that, for a long time, remauned hidden behind the more active ones on my list.

The multi domain thought is interesting.
You can technically create more NIP-05 addresses that are simultaneously valid; the pitfall is that currently clients show/verify only one NIP-05 from the "nip05" extra field.
To enable the multi NIP-05 support we could introduce duplicate "nip05" fields (but the JSON would be formally invalid), or have an additional "nip05_alts" with a list of comma separated secondary addresses.

As long the domain doesn't offer NIP-05 addresses.
In this case you cannot trust it, you need to verify the actual NIP-05, and pay attention to typos intended to impersonate someone.
Btw, NIP-05 utility exists for sure, as stated in the NIP: facilitate the exchange of a contact or their search.

And the #quote is doubly underrated, because it has all the value of the #repost (that sometimes can be quite lazy, let's be honest) plus your genuine thoughts.
I wold love a UI where I can just add some text and confirm a zap amount: the client generates the quote+zap events in one shot. This could be the real #boost.

I would build the home in "blocks" (About, How it works, Buy, Download app, FAQs, Contacts), and every block can be linked to its own page, if necessary. For example the Buy block will show the price, the expected delivery date and the accepted payment methods, and at the end it will offer a button to start the buy/preorder process.
The idea is to offer a single page rich in content that anyone can easily scroll through to get a complete overview of the project, with some additional resources that provide further details.
These blocks should also be highlighted as a menu at the top, so the user can easily understand the website's structure and quickly reach the needed content.
Pay attention to the Contacts section: you are selling a >$500 product, the future customer need to be reassured about who you are, and should be able to easily contact you (e.g. email) for any pre-buy inquiries. A X profile is definitely not enough, imo.
In fact a Contacts section is a good place to show also a brief profile of the company: a couple of faces and the working environment are usually reassuring.
Last thought: "Frostsnap" is a really nice name, but I probably would avoid the ice crystal in the logo (it reminds me some frozen food companies). Actually I don't think it needs any special graphic symbol to be memorable, maybe a good typography work is sufficient.

I also suspect this, but I use it without the network permission*, so only the local AI is active, and I don't see any problem.
Having billions of users training the AI 24/7 is a huge resource, but the quality improvement should be marginal at this point since the current quality is already very good; I'm surprised that someone else cannot emulate it, even if with less data.
* I keep the permission enabled only few minutes after the installation to download the additional languages and any possible update.

It is a really interesting project, but the website could do better to explain the use cases (e.g. spending and inheritance modes).

We are so brainwashed by the cloud-sync-everything mantra that we have lost our appreciation for ephemeral things and the ability to give them our full attention in the present moment. We have also lost the responsability to cherry pick and preserve what, and only what, really matters to us. And so we live surrounded by tons of digital junk around, that our mind is not structurally able to manage.
Some software is even trying to push, through horrible dark patterns, online-only saving; many people no longer understand the concept of having local storage, they don't really know where their data is saved. They just have blind faith in the big corporation of the moment.
Then, one day they will loose everything due to a tech glitch or a irrevocable termination of our account. From too much to the void.
So this kind of experiments is really refreshing, it's a wake up call.

I experienced the same issue, I supposed the problem was related to the availability of the wallet when it is in background, but also switching between the two apps while the zap runs, to keep both in foreground, doesn't help very much.
Now I'm testing cashu.me and it seems sligtly better.
Probably wallet of satoshi is totally server side.

The fact that deletion doesn't exist is only partially true; in fact all mayor clients support "request deletion" and even if a relay does not honor it, in practice it works very well.
On the other hand it is also true that if you post something online, anywhere, it should be considered public forever.
This makes you more responsible when posting serious things and, as you said, at the same time celebrates our humanity in small mistakes.

Yes. Then LN's fees are usually calculated percentually, so on small transaction rounding down makes zero.
