Worst case it’s on other relays. NFDB replicates on-site to 2 hosts in the current configuration but I may bump up that to 3 once I get more demand.
(The DB only runs on 3 hosts, and if one dies, then the DB would stop because it can’t meet triple-replication requirements.)

I did not say your wallet has bad UX and I did not know where you got that idea.
Inherently, perfected KYC wallets will have worse UX than perfected nonKYC wallets because one does not ask for PII.

This type of behavior makes me actually concerned about @npub12vk…pugg.
While looking into their caching API spec, to build an alternative using NFDB, I found an issue that could affect people’s privacy.
I posted about it and explained what it actually probably was for (see replies). And all people get for trying to understand what is happening is arrogance.

This appears to be some sort of metrics functionality. Don’t think there is any bad faith.
I’d recommend @npub12vk…pugg fix this.
The public key seems to be used for certain personalization, so it makes sense they might store that for debugging, but still a privacy risk.
They could rework their debugging system to integrate tracing and logging to identify specific issues, without storing search queries or pubkeys. And limit retention to a few days, and only when necessary (query error or high latency).

Tell me you don’t know how DBs work without telling me you don’t know how DBs work.
The dropped columns are deleted once a row containing the value is updated, or for the entire table once a full vacuum is ran.
After that the only thing that remains is the column having existed. Rewriting the entire table immediately on drop column would be disruptive (just do a vacuum if you care!), and removing the record of the column existing would require a similar operation that has negligible benefits
