You're still missing my point. Bitcoin only has an association with this in the sense that its stated on a community focused on Bitcoin with strong associations between Fiat money and fiat. Again, there's a higher form of fiat that's different from Fiat Money, just as there's a higher form of non-fiat that's different from Bitcoin, the non-fiat money. I also said Bitcoin "points" to a non-fiat life, which is just about as loose an association that you can get.
Even still, whatever the association there is, its enough to attract the interest of @nprofile…qmwj, a professor in working in public health to both look into this association for research create and build towards an institution focused around how individuals who go down the Bitcoin path tend to also change their health habits.
And that last point, if you like Bitcoin beyond a pure technological curiosity, you recognize that it does something that other systems don't or are less effective at. Going back to the point again, it doesn't necessitate that Bitcoin /fixes/ anything, but rather that it is an alternative incentive structure. Changing incentives does not guarantee any change in behavior, but it biases it.

I'll clarify, because while the community often interchanges the terms, they're not equal. It's more fiat as in "by decree". Fiat money coud be seen as an instantiation of fiat, the incentive structure, working based on some principles by an authoritative command. Bitcoin points to a certain lifestyle and mentality that isn't fiat, to which Fiat Money points to lifestyles and mentalities that are. To that end I'd agree the fix isn't guaranteed by Bitcoin. But it's a different incentive structure, and helps bias the resulting outcome.

Summaries and reinterpretations can really only take you so far because at the core of some philosophy is that logic itself is a false presupposition for understanding. So they write in a purposely disorienting way to take you outside of your normal logical structures and into an experiential flow of the work. You still need to have some background with whom they're referencing to understand, but the cadence of prose itself is supposed to put you into some altered state.

For all that I've written, brainstorming to myself about Alexandria's utility: Ideas are massively entangled with context coming from the person formalizing them.
How can we leverage that entangledness to help individuals traverse across that landscape to what they're interested in learning, giving them the context they need?
And then the inversion of agency is a mind twister. We don't come up with ideas, ideas find fertile ground to grow until they need to spread. So then, how does one cultivate the growth of ideas? Through providing an environment where they can flourish.

I get that - it looks like we're just input output machines, but that's because we're limited by our perception, our maps of the world. The difference is that the maps are not the territory. Formal systems are not natural systems, because they are rules we've abstracted from the relations between our sensory maps.
Nature itslef is a giant communicating mass, evolving to a higher energy rate density over time which also evolves a higher density of communication (more loosely defined than energy rate density). Formal systems have countable rules and are created for a purpose. They evolve due to utility, meaning they change because their creators want them to.
So maybe the difference is semantic, but I can't imagine any formal/ai system suddenly waking up, regardless of how complicated it is or how many rules you give it. The only AGI conversation that makes sense to me is the one that includes the Natural systems that create and enable them, and the levels that they are elevated from their tools.
