Yes and yes. For all filters, you can choose to include OR exclude and you can mix tags this way. For exa.ple, ive included tags for Ai and exclude spam. This gives us all the tagged legit Ai tracks.
You can obviously choose to exclude both Ai and spam or any other combo. You can get prob get creative with your own private tags and create a very uniquely tailored feed. You can even save presets so you can toggle between sets of filters. For example, @nprofile…fn5g will be tagging all of their artists tracks so anyone can quickly pull up all their songs at the touch of a button.
Actually @nprofile…lpr3 are there private tags such that you can tag it but no one else sees the labels?

So I dont know all the behind workings but pretty sure the user ratings system is part of the sauce. Users are also able to tag Ai tracks. So those two combined identifies and verifies in a human crowdsourced manner (ala mechanical turk)
Either way, in my time with the music player, I haven't encountered any songs my trained ear would say was Ai (or care if it were for that matter).

I say meet them where they are. There is no silver bullet.
Find out what their primary needs are and if they prefer function over form (or vice versa). From there assess the best layer/wallet for them. Sometimes a custodied L2 like wos is a better option for those who just wants a demo to see how it works and maybe spend some sats occasionally. But you know they wont take the time to learn anything remotely complex (there is a vibe you shld be able to tell) so onboarding to a self custody L1 is gonna be a nonstarter. While others who are concerned with retirement savings only, might be better off immediately setting up a self custody L1 as an L2 would be counterproductive. The retirement saver probably has more funds "at risk" and would likely be willing to learn a bit more and put in more effort.
No matter the situation, if u push too hard past their frustration limit wherever that may be, they'll turn off permanantly.
It really depends on a lot of factors but imo a foot in the door is most important, dont care which one. In fact, I think trying to generalize will guarantee most the time you're shilling the wrong thing to the wrong person.

How big is the groupnwouldnu say? Less than 10 id say do specific scheduling cause at best half the ppl will be no shows for one reason or another. It'll be hard to get 5 ppl to happen to show up same time. Having more times makes it harder.

Im against it on principle. Its an interesting idea and yes you prob would profit more in the short term but Bitcoin has taught us low time preference is the better long term answer.
Enabling shitcoins as payment is endorsing the scam. I dont want to help proliferate a scam economy any more than I want to help proliferate the use of fiat money. My dream is for my kids to grow up in a world where Bitcoin is a normal everyday payment option like venmo or paypal today. But that won't happen if normies continue to lump bitcoin in with all the other crypto scams.

An auto conversion to mp3 would be amazing. Im weary of optimization sometimes... would it affect audio quality? That's first and foremost. I like the option to have it on or off like you have for the photo optimization.
The second one, nostr.build could certainly host rss files. Agree, the ability to edit is big but we would also need some way to push a notification that theres been a new feed created or an update. Its been done so the code is likely out there. The PC2.0 guys use a function called podping. I think they use it over IRC or something idk how it works but there are those around who might. Nothing wrong with using fountaint and wavlake. Im a big fan and supporter of them both. Just like I generally have nothing against primal and doubt they have evil intentions.
But right now, everyone is exclusively using wavlake and just now starting to pick up on Fountain and we should promote broad usage. Its not decentralized if we are only using one or two apps. Nostriches should be screaming the war cry and flying the flag, not being dragged along like toddlers.
Its like if nostr acted as if primal and zbd was the whole ecosystem and refused to try any new apps or even acknowledge there is anything else.
NGL, hearing nostritches talk about music in this space often sounds cringe-ily like normies from TikTok finding primal for the first time. There are people screaming and teaching from the rooftops on nostr but most are staying willingly ignorant.
Let me be very clear. Im a big supporter of wavlake and fountain and use them regularly. But there are other apps, with nostr integration no less, that we should be using and promoting.
Also wavlake contains only 1/3 of the decentralized music library that exists. So theres that too.
Nostriches exclusively using wavlake are severely missing out and that's not a dig on wavlake, just me feeling sad for ignorant nostriches. Again, because it seems everytime I say wavlake, nostriches tend to get defensive... I've spoken with Sam directly IRL and I understand why things are the way they are on wavlake. I dont blame him.
***And the kicker here is he literally said to me, HE wants there to be more apps in this ecosystem that doesnt do the walled garden thing he was forced to do.***
He said that its too difficult to entirely dismantle and rebuild wavlake to accommodate and hopes other people can come in to fill the void and continue innovating.

I feel like we are all out here just wanderlust which is great for innovation but now I think we need to come back home and get together for the whole ecosystem to mature. You may not know me under this nym but I'm a big supporter of PC2.0 so just pre-empting any defensiveness here. I just want a good discussion. I think there's the right tool for the right job and just like bitcoin doesnt actually fix everything, a pc2.0 podcast, even with boostagrams and all that we have, may not the best medium for this type of broad discussion that potentially changes how a lot of die-hard type people do things.
Its great if you have a single person or entity leading the charge. It woildnl have to be the podcaster in this case because since thats the chosen forum. To me that looks an aweful lot like an influencer calling the shots. It that may have worked in the past with adam when it was a single community moving forward. But right now he seems disenchanted and I dont know hes up for the fight anymore. Dont get me wrong, I like the guy and listen to the boardroom often.
We are now talking about two separate communities colliding on a single set of standards trying to find a way forward together. With something like that, it requires an open forum to discuss ideas. People can still do what they are ultimately going yo do and whatever happens happens, but great ideas are being silo'd at the moment. I hear a lot of great ideas on podcasts and no one on nostr knows about it until someone else happens to come up with a similar idea months later. Vice versa. There's a handful of people trying to relay ideas across both but not many and it only ends up fostering one-sided conversations amongst people who already mostly agree with each other, further entrenching everyone in their existing ways.

An easy beginners way is to go to a nursery and buy the smallest *healthy* boxwood bush you can find. Then hack the shit out of it.
First rinse out the root ball. You'll want to prune the roots in proportion to how much top growth you take out. This encourages small root growth instead of taproot growth.
Then you wanna chop a ton of branches. Be generous but be intentional because you cant uncut. Youll probably want to reduce over 50% of the branches.
Pro tip, get a small cloth... when you're cutting branches but unsure about one... untangle and push the branch to the side best u can. put the cloth around it thus "hiding" it. You'll suddenly get a much better sense of how it'll look without. Seems stupid but it really works.

I have. The key is to get the drainage right and properly restrict the roots when you go to cut branches, generally cut any the lower hanging branch if two branches are growing off the same fork. Any branches that visually intersect with other branches, esp towards the base, should be chopped. Same with anything major branches growing downwards.
From there, get copper wire or something and start wrapping the plant sorta like a spring. Loose enough not to cut off its circulation but strong enough you can force the branches where you want them. Adjust periodically so it doesn't dig in or restrict circulation. Generally woody branches are set but current yearned growth can be trained with the copper wire.
