I did try it. It didn't have much of an impact. Big AI companies are subsidizing cost. There are things we can do in Shakespeare but they have downsides.

I would recommend you do not use a predatory subscription plan.
I build Nostr apps frequently with Shakespeare and spend between $2-10 per project. It can become hundreds for highly involved projects, but I am not sure what you did to trigger that.

Codex and goose both support it (both are also Open Source)
Why even have standards if you don't use them?
It would be a 1-line change in Claude Code to change CLAUDE.md to AGENTS.md. I would submit a PR, but it's closed source!

There is no open search engine API. Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Baidu, Yandex, Brave... they are all the same. All exactly the same. Even the "virtuous" ones are just lying. None of these offer a public API.

The one standard is absolutely not a problem - this is exactly what LLMs excel at.
If you tell it to use the OpenLibrary API, or OpenStreetMaps API, it will do it perfectly, because these APIs don't require authentication. These integrations feel absolutely magical.
