I feel yea on work. I had to write a strongly worded letter last week so they wouldn't cut my pay by 20% & due to their lack of care I need to find a new fiat job.
As for things piling up all I can say is just start slowly pushing through one item at a time. It's not always possible but it will let you say at least I did X &Y today.

I really believe that filtering is the client's responsibility, not the relay's. I mean, for Sparitoa (spelling not within my abilities), it's a nice way to see a curated feed based on a few metrics, but it won't help you block material you find offensive.
I currently use client filters to make my own experience, mine. I filter out NSFW content, by music/podcast, likes, and rank comments not from my user network. Trying to prevent the surge at the relay is important for relay owners in jurisdictions that enforce such rules, but otherwise it's up to the user to curate their feed.

We ran an opportunity cost when we had our second. For his to be in daycare & my wife to work as a substitute teacher we would be ~200 ahead each month.
Our choice was for my wife to quit be a full time mom and figure out how to save/earn that extra cash. I had 2 working parents growing up they loved me but i spent way to much time away from them.
You can choose your friends, but you build yer family. My wife has been integral to doing this. Biggest choice of my life. As for the kids, theres no “good time” for them

Nostr allows the individual the power to own it all. I am in control of filtering, I am in control of my media, my encrypted proofs called notes. I am in control.
That paired with full app interoperability, its priceless. I can go to my long form filter or vloging filter apps. I can see only my communities listening habits via a podcasting app, but i still prefer my microblogging apps. All of that under a growing umbrella
Thats why its the best.
