Pokey works over the outbox model. That means that it only works as far the client creating the note respect it, so no, there is nothing "straight forward" to do.
Did you check Pokey's "Notifications" view? Just in case it's a bug strictly related to it.
Battery optimization limits Pokey instantly notifying you, but certainly is not going to make it to skip any note.

I'm totally against that approach, sorry. The idea is that somebody familiar with #amethyst (or any other client) should just continue using it seamlessly.
I didn't move to nostr to be captured by apps instead of platforms.
Don't get me wrong. I perfectly understand it's a paid point for users, but luckily I don't have any VP over my head, so I can stick attached to what I believe is better.
That said, as far it doesn't break that rule, I'm 100% open to improve the user experience and welcome any used feedback.

Robosats do its best to preserve the privacy of users, if you avoid re-using robots you can basically leave no traces of your trade on Robosats.
There are some payment methods that are absolutely private such as F2F, but as any other option it all depends on the liquidity.
But still, people have the preference of using these other non-private options for trading, which for some people seems to be not ideal, but not absolutely terrible.
The payment method is a free text so people can use even chickens for trade. What we can't do, for sure, is to ban payment methods. It's reposability of each user to DYOR and accept the counterparts of the method they choose to trade.
Taking into consideration Robosats is not responsible of the fiat side (where the privacy is lost), what are our options?

But these events are only available in Coordinator's relays, which are only exposed through Tor.

Every Robot will deterministically generate their own nsec and Coordinators will send NIP-17 messages the same way they do for Telegram. Web and Android clients will fetch for them and display in their own notifications center.

About the notification, 50% of the times its just Tor not properly establishing the route and causes a situation where the request neither success or fail. But you are right that the client should control and notify about it.

I have this situation with robosats and I honestly believe the best 1 line of defense method is NIP-05.
I believe some clients take it as a joke but its extremely useful to rapidly identify and discard impersonators.
And obviously the best but most expensive one is to use your WoT. Primal does a good job there by showing notorious people following an account, that's something reproducible with a 2nd level WoT of any user.

It's not only to the aggregator. In a nutshell, what you need to do is to publish your orders to nostr and keep their status updated 🙂 that's way more beneficial because your orders can be fetched by any nostr client compatible with this NIP (nowadays p2p.band and @nprofile…ml9t)
Here is a POC I did for your API. https://github.com/RoboSats/robosats-nostr-sync/blob/main/app/hodlhodl.py but it's not much efficient. Feel free to use it and adapt it. That's what Peach did.

This is me rewriting @nprofile…ml9t' Android app from scratch with Kotlin. It implements all existing features but Notifications (waiting to be reimplemented with NIP-17).
I reduced the size of the apk from 50MB to 34MB and removed a ton of over engineering. Plus improved the general look and feel.

Even if that's the case (#amethyst for example can connect to 160 relays and still work) there are too many ways to overpass that "censorship". Even ways that are still not defined yet.

How to help to test @nprofile…xu96 at home:
1. Download, install, and configure a local Nostr relay (e.g., #citrine).
2. Download, install, and configure a Nostr client (e.g., #amethyst).
3. Connect Amethyst to Citrine as both the input and output relay. To avoid false positives, it might be better not to have any other relay configured.
3.5. Test that Amethyst is indeed sending notes to Citrine, that it saves them, and that they can be viewed in Amethyst.
4. Download and install @nprofile…xu96 from its GitHub page https://github.com/KoalaSat/samiz/releases, the IzzyDroid repository, or @nprofile…tdq0.
5. Completely disconnect the device from the internet (airplane mode), ensuring that Bluetooth remains activated.
6. With all three apps running on the same device, start a session in @nprofile…xu96 by pressing the "Start Session" button.
7. Confirm in the Logs view that @nprofile…xu96 has received the test note that was created earlier (what is displayed is the note ID).

8. Create a new note in Amethyst and confirm again in the Logs that @nprofile…xu96 has detected it.
This covers the basics. If someone is lucky enough to have a second Android device, they can test further by following steps 1 to 6 on the second device. They should then be able to receive and view notes created on the first device from Amethyst on the second device.

Setup para hacer en casa:
1.Descargar, instalar y configurar un relay nostr local (ej. #citrine)
2. Descargar, instalar y configurar un cliente nostr (ej. #amethyst)
3. Conectar Amethyst a Citrine como relay de entrada y relay de salida. Quizás para asegurar falsos positivos es mejor que no haya configurado ningún otro relay.

Having a special character is even worst for your privacy. If you use a device name nobody uses, it can easily be spotted anywhere in the word. "John Doe's Macbook Pro" is a way better privacy wise name for your device (not the best one)

It's certainly not he goal of this app to replace the internet, that's clear. You can check the use cases on the repo, instant messaging is one of my proposed use cases, but I consider there are others where this app shine.

It's possible to be done with Robosats nowadays but clearly it's not obvious, so nobody is aware of it.
I think the only thing missing to make things easier is allowing the Robot to use blossom servers to upload pictures or the QR itself. Nice feature to work on 😁

Has been a while since I joined nostr and once again, I just had some sort of iterative self awareness:
I open my client, read what my frens say, and after 3-4 scrolls I reach to the point I left last time. Maybe I say something, close my client and continue living my life.
This is what a social network is supposed to be even before the internet was invented. I still love this place, thanks to everyone for making it possible.
