It totally depends on the person and how they disagree. There are numerous people with which I strongly disagree on most or many topics, but I can have a logical, respectful debate with them. I can respect them while disagreeing sometimes vehemently.

There are other people who disagree, personally attack, lie and try to use government to silence me. Those people are brain-dead fools and/or evil.

I love a good debate. I dislike people who try to destroy anyone who disagrees with them. Sadly the debaters are rare and hard to find and those who try to utterly destroy anyone with which they disagree seems to be the majority.
