A great tragedy has struck my family.

How does veto work in your state?
In Czechia president can veto a bill but ot only forces the other parts of the goverment to vote again (and pushes them to “think about it again”, maybe do some small changes).
But it’s the main reason why most of the time president doesn’t even bother with veto when he sees overwhelming support for a thing.

My wife has DB1. It took her only few months to understand the logic of low carb. But she (and I) lacked to conviction. But lately she came back to it on her own. Because she was seeing the consequences of high-carb diet. She was unable to manage glucose levels, alway over or undershooting the target.
Now she’s in two weeks back in low carb - most of the time basically a full scale carnivore… and she’s been 100% in target, glucose making basically no movement at all.
My point being - you can bring a horse to the water, but cannot force it to drink it. Keep telling her. She will remember when the right time comes. 🫡

Some consider the ideal size of UTXO to be around 1M sats in order to be able to spend them in a long future when the fees would probably be high.

Totally agree. I came to the conclusion that I will not allow Paw Patrol to be played on TV in my house forever. But then some Youtube videos recommended this game because of realy easy controls. This makes it suitable for my goal.

Got a meeting with a tradfi guy yesterday. Had all of this €FPA and PFP certificates meaning he should be “really good at what he’s doing”.
So I had to tear him down his card house. He was shouting on me I am wrong when I say that when you borrow money from the bank, it’s not a deposits of another clients, but they literally make it from nothing and this creating new money.
I had to show him a video from a ČNB - Czech central bank when the guy from inside explains it plainly.
He was literally devastated at that moment. And our talk about Bitcoin finally got pretty much civilised.
Don’t know if he really got it. Don’t care. I think people ignorrant enough to argue a Bitcoiner just deserve the price they got, that’s all I am saying.

Those green windows are the place I rented for ~$350 a month back in 2017.
I was single bachelor fucking big ass BBWs from Tinder, around $80.000 in debt from a failed business, my income was around 20% short of what I had to pay each month. Only because I was able to make some big money here and there I was able to stay afloat somehow.
Then I met a girl. It started to get a bit serious. And I wanted to keep her.
I was able to turn my life 180 degrees, thanks to her (as well as myself). She became my Queen. So I could become her King.
Now, around 8 years later, I have 2 kids and third on the way with said girl - now a badass woman and mother. I managed to get myself of the debt (only to make another - much more reasonable) and build something that can in a decade or so become a generational wealth.
Never forget where you came from. Especially when it was from the bottom.

Same here. Although Switch was only my second after Wii I really think they are good in making smart solutions.
I love my Steam Deck, and still my no. 1 go to - is a PC… but Switch Lite and later my Switch OLED were a great addition mostly for travelling.

Yea I think if Switch was 3rd most succesful console in the world (and the 2nd being also Nintendo) they can get a little cocky with the pricing.
Also I somewhat guess the LCD is there to improve margins, leaving open space to improve in the future.
As well there were speculations that they were not able to get their hands on so many OLED displays at once - so they basically need to wait for initial FOMO to fade out a bit.
For me it’s not a day 1 buy anyw. I am simply not that guy. But eventually I would want to own that, because I find the ease of going from TV to handheld in the matter of second a really nice feature.

Basically their sales pitch was that games would be 5 to 10 dollars more expensive because of the physical storage (chip) needed to bear to data.

I am not sure that is 100% true. Most businesses will still include taxes in prices.
At least so far I didn’t get a 21% VAT discount when paying in cash and/or Bitcoin.
But that’s ok, from my perspective it’s 21-more-percent a business can leave in their pocket, improving margins, rather than sending it to the state.
